Founded in early 2021 by Melissa Renaud, a registered social service worker. It’s More Than Care was established out of the need to address the current capacity problem in our healthcare system. Senior citizens and people with medical conditions in the Greater Toronto Area are not getting the appropriate support they need to live fulfilling lives in the comfort of their homes. Since then, we have made it our mission to provide compassionate home care services to anyone who needs it. Melissa has been working in the health care and social services field for over 15 years and has witness first hand the crippling gap in the system to service our most vulnerable population.

Support Services are offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Mission Statement

To execute our vision by focusing on the four pillars:

  • individualized support services to seniors and the vulnerable residents of the GTA through certified personnel’s;
  • promote good health and wellness practices through specialized education training from expert trainers;
  • to increase the comfort and to maintain a safe living environment in your own home by providing supportive home services;
  • and to decrease social isolation by being paired through our innovative peer companionship program

With our services, you can experience support from our certified Personal Support Workers (PSW) and Developmental Services Workers (DSW) in your own residence. We can also offer you qualified caregivers without the wait time of a long-term care (LTC).

We understand that one specific care plan cannot cater to everyone’s needs. That is why we offer personalized care plans where we set goals and targets for each of our clients to accomplish. Through this, we aim to support our clients live richer and holistic lives both physically and mentally.
